Dennett Palaver GmbH is the world market leader in the development, manufacture and sale of expanded glass. Palaver® is a high-quality, ecological lightweight filler made from recycled glass, which is used in a variety of industrial products in addition to applications in the building materials industry. Palaver® is industrially manufactured at three locations in Europe and North America. We have been manufacturing Palaver® expanded glass for the European market in our Postbauer-Heng production plant near Nuremberg since 1983. In 2007, another Palaver® plant was opened in Innisfil (Canada) to supply the Canadian and US markets. The third state-of-the-art production plant was built at the Schlüsselfeld site in 2020 and put into operation in 2021.

For our R&D team in Schlüsselfeld we are looking for one as soon as possible

Project manager for research and development with a focus on glass and glass technology (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Time, quality and budget management of development projects
Finding and testing alternative raw materials for existing and development products
Introduce processes into production and oversee their further development
Close cooperation with application technology and the laboratory
Participation in the monthly research & development talks
Reporting to the department head

your qualifications

Study of glass technology, materials technology non-ferrous metals or glass technician
Professional experience in the field of glass technology
Expertise and experience in material development
good written and spoken English knowledge
